I had to add Javascript because one of my accounts need Javascript to open. After installing Javascript and allowing for all to be 'true', I still get this message when I try to open a 'show blocked content' in my email.

"The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

   You might need to install other software to open this address."

I never had any problem before installing Javascript. Thanks for any solutions.

Please let me know if speech recognition API is supported in firefox. If yes, provide the steps to configure it without any error. I always get error like Uncaught TypeError: window.SpeechRecognition is not a constructor

MY INBOX HAS CHANGED IN ITS APPEARANCE WHERE AS THE SIZE OF THE SPACE FOR THE EMAILS ALLOWS ONLY FOUR EMAILS TO BE VIEWED ON THE WHOLE SCREEN. I USED TO SEE MAYBE TEN. ALSO THE TOP OF THE SCREEN HES BECOME VERY LARGE WHICH CUTS DOWN ON THE AMOUNT OF INFORMATION I RECEIVE. I HOPE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR. THANK YOU RON

Hello, I'm teaching German as a foreign language - both f2f and online via Zoom. Up until recently I could call up the websites I would need for the online training, turn off the computer to save power and when I started it again the next day, all the tabs from the previous session would automatically reappear when I started Firefox. But now I cannot click the option "Open previous windows and tabs". I really don't want to completely delete this program and start from scrap because I'm scared I might lose all the bookmarks I collected for my job over the years. I have a local app on my machine hosted on port 80 using a non-encrypted HTTP connection. Tonight I upgraded my Firefox browser to version 108 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to allow this connection. Before the upgrade, it worked perfectly fine, after the upgrade it tells me it was unable to connect but in the address bar I see that it's trying to connect to HTTPS Even though the bookmark is HTTP. If I remove the s from the address bar, it still refuses to connect. The chromium-based browser on my computer will connect to this site without any trouble, as will the legacy browser. This seems to be a problem introduced in version 108 and I have no way around it. Has anybody else experienced this problem? I don't want to write a sloppy bug report so I'll probably just wait for someone important to have this problem and the next release will probably have it fixed, but it's pretty annoying having to open up my chromium based browser in order to access this one local URL.

Google search hangs until I clear cookies which fixes it, then hangs again soon after. I've tried clearing cache as well. I've also gone through my extensions and gotten rid of anything that could cause issues. I disabled duckduckgo (see attached pic of my current extensions). I'm also updated to the latest version (see pic). It's also happening on my desktop and my laptop pc's. I do IT work and computer repair professionally and I'm out of things to try here! Can you help me with this issue?

I have been observing an issue since a month that- a few YouTube videos are not being played when it is opened in Firefox, whereas the same videos are working fine in other browsers. The videos are getting loaded by the time, and the captions are also visible but no picture is visible and no sound. First I thought, may be it's an issue of the AdBlocker (uBlock Origin) that is enabled in my browser, so I disabled it and tried again, but still the same problem.

What are you doing with Firefox browser. Have been using it since the 90's with very little trouble but in the last six months it has become hopeless. Just constant dropouts, but switch to Google Chrome and it's perfect. please fix this problem. .

with Firefox there is a long delay (~5min.). This happens with multiple machines and locations (w/ Windows 10p and Windows 11p). This started a few weeks ago, I'm wondering if an update is to blame.

It all works fine with Microsoft Edge.

How do I keep Firefox from losing the internet connection just cause I don't want to close all the tabs I've had open the past week or so? I've tried clearing the cookies, and then reloading my open tabs, but it ends up losing the connection, just the browser itself. Other browser still works. Completely closing all tabs and restarting Firefox gets it working again, but dare I reload the previous session again, open all the tabs (acts like it's going to work), but then loses connection.

I am no longer able to set Content Limit Settings to 1 (it is absent in this version of Firefox in settings). It is hogging my mem and cpu. **note: I've always followed suggestions on several Mozilla support pages. I usually do this w every update. Now it's either gone (performance) or moved. idk.

No changes in cpu and Increased Instances. ?!?!?

What can I do safely - with various method (a) mozilla (b) about:config (c) the things i know i don't know about ;)

Had a sign that I needed to update so I clicked update and it did not complete. I clicked Close Firefox and got XULRunner Error: Platform version '101.1' is not compatible with minVersion >=101.0 Max version <=101.0’ for ‘Firefox’ and can't,t get past it. I've updated for years and nothing like this has happened before. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall? if I do will I lose all my bookmarks and saved pages? Any other workarounds???
