Please I want to remove Ai from Firefox Mozila permanently on Windows 11 for all users/profiles:

I tried a lot of workarounds but they are unsuccessfully: I tried to create extensions (Hide Gemini, AI Google Overview), but they do not work for all users; only profile-based extensions are supported. I tried to use preferences using internal settings on Firefox, but it does not apply to all users. I tried using a script on PowerShell for all users merging internal preferences, but it does not work I copied the local and roaming settings from Firefox to the Default profile, but it was unsuccessful.

I also tried to remove "All" from the search page, but I moved the seach to go to the tab "Web" only.

I would like to disable automatic session restore completely. When I restart my PC, crashes or anything like that, I do not want Firefox to restore my previously opened tabs or windows. When I open firefox after a system reboot / crash, I want to only open my default home page. Only if I manually click History > Restore Previous Session should firefox ever restore my session, otherwise never restore my sessions.

I tried unchecking Settings > Startup > Open previous windows and tabs, and also tried following this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1182594

My sessions still restores after my computer restarts or crashes.

Why do I want this? When I reboot my computer, I want a clean slate to start from scratch, not the dozens of pages (and other software) I had open from my previous session.

I am running linux mint btw.

Hello, I have just upgraded to windows 11. On firefox I used to be able to right mouse click on the firefox icon in the taskbar to select my saved saved (Pinned) websites. In the past with Windows 10 I right mouse clicked on the url of favorite websites then drag and drop on the firefox icon in the taskbar and that was it. On Windows 11 that no longer works. How do I pin my favorite websites to the firefox icon in the taskbar on Windows 11? I thank anyone for your help.

I have attached an image of the setting panel that used to have options for the home screen of Firefox. There are no wallpapers to choose from and the Home screen is barren.

What the hell do you guys do with the latest update?? My home page is all screwed up and does not look or act at all as my old home page. Apparently there is no way to go back to the "old" look and feel. Not a good decision. Seriously thinking of abandoning Firefox (since I used it in WIndows-7) for a browser that will make my life easier, not harder. My Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are Bookmarks 2025-07-22.JSON. They worked well on my older Dell computer. I bought a new Dell desktop computer. I am disgusted with Google. My bookmarks on my C Drive. If you can't help me reload those bookmarks, I may as well decide to delete Firefox and use another such as Total Browser. I certainly hope you will help me load 2025-07-22.JSON on my new computer - it is ridiculous that Firefox wants to put in the full address on the C Drive instead of simply loading those. On Firefox on my last computer I used News which was bookmarked Daily Wire, Epoch Times, Salem News Channel, God's World News, One America News, Washington Times, New York Sun, and local Sterling Virginia Weather. I also use biography sites https://www.Worldhistory.org and Britannica.com [both of which I pay for monthly, as https://www.wikipedia.org/. I also have a Biography folder with names from A to Z I also have many music folders 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990's, 2000s, Music group and singers A to Z, Blues music, Bluegrass, Christian Alternative Music, Country classic, Country & Western Gospel, Folk Singers, Jazz, Motown, Soul and many others which I have gathered over the past 10 years

For some reason Firefox remembered my phone number and is now trying to use it as a login when I attempt to login or register in any service. I've checked my saved passwords and autofill data, but I cannot find it, there's only usernames and passwords, and I have no saved autofill data, no phone number. Where can I look for it to remove it?

I want to add a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. When I search how to do this, I read: To add a separate search bar in the Firefox browser, navigate to Settings > Search and then click on "Add search bar in toolbar". This will place a dedicated search bar next to the address bar. But when I search for "Add search bar in toolbar", I get a message there are no results in Settings. I have Windows 10 laptop.
