In thunderbird for android, there are currently three possible settings for loading images in mails: never load images, from contacts only or from anyone.

I'd like to have an option to auto-load images except for mails that are in the junk folder.

J'ai essayé de supprimer le compte pour le réinstaller d'abord avec un compte mais impossible de le rajouter à Thunderbird, j'obtiens un erreur inconnu à la recherche du serveur sortant smtp.videotron.ca Je peux cependant recevoir mais pas envoyer pour les autres adresses de compte videotron. Mes comptes Hotmail et Gmail fonctionne très bien. Merci de venir à la rescousse. Danièle

Hi, I use TB for quite a while on my pc. Tried to use TB 4 A. I used the import function. Got 3 accts. Scanned the QR code and it seemed to import all of them. But then I noticed the Gmail POP acct was not showing any entries. I got confused, so I uninstalled and then Only imported the Gmail account. Nothing was there in any folder.

Is there a problem with POP? The documentation says no.

Hi all I use Thunderbird 115. Suddenly, when trying to send emails to anyone, I started getting an error message: (screenshot attached) My provider doesn't know what this code is. I had made no change in any type of settings. However TB retrieves mails normally. So it can connect to the server with the correct password. OTOH, some time ago Thunderbird became unable to send to and retrieve mail from my gmail account. Any solution? TIA Nick

Dobrý deň, prestali sa mi zobrazovať odoslané emaily v Thunderbird v. 9.0, Android 14. Email je odoslaný, ale nie je uložený v odoslanej pošte. Zasielanie emailov cez počítač (Thunderbird) alebo po prihlásení cez webové rozhranie funguje, e-maily sa uložia v odoslanej pošte. Problém je len v mobilnej aplikácii a len pre 1 účet. Ďalšie 2 účty (gmail a centrum) fungujú bez problémov, maily sa ukladajú v odoslanej pošte. Skúšal som zmeniť nastavenie servera pre odosielanu poštu v danom účte - bez úspechu. Stretol sa niekto s podobným problémom? Ďakujem

Thunderbird android fails to login to outlook account with automatic configuration, which also seems to be the Microsoft recommended. On android 13.

Steps: Add account > enter your_mail@outlook.com > automatic configuration > [Accept] in the webview of microsoft asking to authorise TB

Message popup: Checking incoming server settings failed Server error Server returned the following message: User is authenticated but not connected.

I want to create an email signature with an image on my Android device, but I can't upload or insert it! Is there a guide for this? Or is it not possible to insert photos in the Thunderbird Android app, but only text?

Long time user of Tbird on Win and now Linux desktop. I have it set up so that reading/opening a msg leaves it's status as unread. I use read status in the msg list so that I can tell what I have dealt with and what is still to be actioned. With Tbird Android, which I use as well as desktop, reading or opening a msg turns it's status to read and it then gets lost among other msg on both platforms. Can't find a setting to change this so that both platforms act the same. Or a workround/change in my workflow.

Hi to everyone. I'm hoping someone can help. See attached picture. I have been getting this notification now and then for a few weeks now. It's getting annoying. Every time this happens, I have to manually verify my sign-in information, and it goes through without any issues. Everything stays OK for a week's time or whatever, and then, boom, I get this again. Is anyone else having this problem? Are the Thunderbird developers aware of this problem? Is there a fix I can try to stop this from happening again? Thank you very much.

Hi. I have a problem with my K9 mail on my HP chromebook. The computer freezes and I have to reset it and it only happens when sending email from K9 mail. Do anyone know how to fix this?

Hello there, I'm using/testing Thunderbird for Android since few month now. I'm very happy with it, i come from BlueMail which is already great but I was not happy with the efficiency of the push notification system. I was missing a lot of emails. Anyway, i decided to try Thunderbird and it solved all my problems.

But, I have a blocking problem using Thunderbird for Android : When I write a new email and I write the adress mail of the recipient(s), the app doesnt propose any autocompletion/email adress based on emails i recieved/sent. The only way to have this is to have contacts in my adress book which I don't want. This is a feature BlueMail had so I uess it should be possible to have such equivalent with thunderbird ? Does anyone knows ?

I am using POP mail on Thunderbird android. Is there a setting which will cause messages I have read to be deleted from server? In Thunderbird for Linux I can untick "Leave message on server" in account settings but I cannot find a similar setting in Thunderbird for android. Version 8.2 Thank you Donald Aitken

Using Samsung Fold 6 and latest version of Thunderbird. Four email a counts set up. When I press the icon to change to another account either the app does not move to the other account or will respond a minute or so later. Most times it just does not respond
