When you have the 'Open links in apps' setting turned on, clicking a link will open the app but also open the link in browser as well. This is annoying because if I'm searching for something and switching back to the browser, I have to click back every time to go back to the search results.

- This is a problem on Firefox Beta for Android - I have a Pixel 8a - It works fine on standard Firefox for Android - It is not specific to one app - The open in app part works fine. It's just the browser shouldn't also go to the website at the same time.

Hello, I recently got an iPad 10th Gen and setup Firefox on it. During setup it asked if I’d like the navigation bar on the top or bottom. Being a traditionalist myself I went ahead and chose top, however during use I realized that I would prefer the navigation bar on the bottom since I always hold the iPad near the bottom and like to use a minimized swipe key I put on the lower right hand corner.

The problem is that the toolbar settings that I would normally find under Menu->Settings->General->Toolbar normally located under the Themes option (like I would find on my iPhone) is now missing and short of uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app I have no idea how else to change this or even find the toolbar option at all under settings. I’ve attempted opening the debug by tapping Firefox version under the about section 5x and I still can’t find it there either. Please help.

Hi! I was given a link to scan my device for the ability to opt out of third party advertisement cookies and that scan said that I cannot block third party cookies because Firefox prevents it. (See attached photos from iOS apps and Windows 11 Desktop browser.)

Is that true? … as I was under the impression that your browsers were all over this topic and were helping us stop the tracking etc. and were lin compliance or we’re supporting the Digital Advertising Alliances opt out policies and principles? Or is this a Safari problem on iOS only since you have to build your browser around a Safari core?

The scan ran was from both Firefox Focus and Firefox apps on iOS 18.0.1 on an iPhone 11 and with Firefox desktop browser version 131.0.3 in Windows 11. If there is some setting that I am supposed to tweak so that my opt out choice from the DAA is hindered, then please let me know as I thought that I had already set up everything correctly to stop the tracking/ads.

I know you guys are doing great work, and keep it up!

Hi, my firefox appears to be missing its navigation/toolbar. I only have a single bottom bar for the address bar, home, tab and the three dots. I would like to have the back, forward button, bookmarks to be pinned on the toolbar area. I try to use the Secret Setting but it does not have the option to enable toolbar. I have included two screenshots, the orange circle depicting my current situation. I would like to have something similar to the toolbar (Samsung Internet Browser) in the other screenshot with teal circle.
