Middle-clicking a link used to open the link in a new, background tab. This suddenly stopped over the long, Memorial Day weekend.
I know I can just Shift-middle-click to get this functionality, but if you're (Mozilla) changing the default* functionality, I would assume you provided a way to go back to the old style.
- I may have changed a setting years ago to make middle-clicks open in the background, but if I did, it was so long ago that I don't recall. Regardless, did that option go away after some update?
I noticed this today. I updated both Windows and Firefox and tried again with the same result. This works as I intend (middle-click opens links in new, background tabs in Chrome). So, this isn't a mouse driver or hardware issue.
