Today (for example) I saw a message 'Downloading message n of 182 messages' (n increasing with every message downloaded but the message disappearing well before 182). According to the activity manager and my own reckoning 72 were downloaded. An incorrect number of messages to be downloaded has been shown every day since 26 April 2024 although my previous download was on 20 April when the number that day (and on previous days going back many years) was correct. I have included messages in the Junk folder in my reckoning. The account is POP mail server and my Thunderbird version is 115.10.1 (64 bit). Not life threatening but can I fix this or can a recent change be corrected as I found the number being downloaded figure useful when it was correct.

Login to server imap.gmail.com with username spinneyhill15@gmail.com failed. I have tried for 2 days but am getting nowhere. Please help.

using a Mac Laptop, Email account is Optus, can receive emails ok but cannot send, getting a failure massage.. Any suggestions please?

This is what the message says. It got hung up after the DONATE message posted. i donated, but it didn't free it up.

"Unable to open the folder Inbox on robert@perless.com because it is in use by some other operation. Please wait for that operation to finish and then select the folder again."

Apple says it is a TB problem, not an Apple problem. Somebody please help.

I recently deleted pwnedpasswords.com from my cookies, as well as blocked this website; however, it keeps reappearing in my list of cookies.

I've never even visited this site (that I'm aware of), and it's a bit concerning to me.

In spite of clearing ALL my cookies (and blocking this website), it keeps appearing in my list!

Please advise :)

I am trying to have my own home page and everytime I set it FireFox reverts to the basic blank screen. I am typing in www.swagbucks.com for the home page and it will stay for a few days then changes back automatically.

I just did the most recent Windows 10 updates:

KB5037768, KB5038350, KB5001716

My version is 22H2 for x64 and .Net 6.0.30

Upon finishing the update and rebooting, Firefox gave me the PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR on all websites. Not other browser was having an issue. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps I can find. Is there an error fix based on what I am describing that I can now try?

Hey there. To get straight to the point, whenever I am watching a YouTube video on Firefox in full screen, every so often the screen goes black then slowly fades back in. I have no idea how to fix this issues and it is not my computer that is causing it (doesn't happen on other browsers, my computer was tested for a variety of problems and nothing was wrong, etc). I have also looked through Firefox Reddit help pages and the support articles on the Firefox support website but have found nothing to help. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated! On my MacOS 10.15.7 system I upgraded from 125.0.2 to FF 126.0 this afternoon. When I started the new version of FF and acknowledged the "downloaded app OK" dialog all the tabs opened as expected except for WordsWithFriends (on Facebook). WWF draws the full board just fine but then throws a less than descriptive error message: "an error occurred. Please refresh." That is an infinite loop as it will return the same error no matter how many times retry is pressed. I logged out of FB and back in, just in case. No change. FB pages show fine, btw. Closed 126.0 and tried downgrading back to 125.0.2. That version with no longer load (or any of the previous four I had on hand). Consumes 100% of the CPU for about six minutes and then changes to Unresponsive in the Activity Monitor. WWF works fine in Safari and Chrome for what that is worth.

FIREFOX won't print whole day of my google calendar - now it just prints when I get to the computer and print out the day - but then it skips the morning or night - BUT I can go to Chrome and it will print from 6am to 12midnight .... PLEASE get this fixed - such a pain to log in to another calendar/browser ETC all the time

This morning my Linux Mint PC notified me via Update Manager that an update to FF version 126 was available. I ran the update and it completed with no problems. I use FF as a Flatpak. When I checked the FF version in FF Help>About FF it still showed version 125.0.3 even after restarting FF and the PC. I checked the Synaptic Package Manager on my PC and it shows that my current FF version is 126. The Software Manager shows the current version is 125.0.3. Why is FF still showing the previous version after I ran the update for 126? I'm concerned that I might have a compromised FF even though I updated it via Linux Mint Update Manager like I always do for any program updates. Thank you, Colin

Every time I start up firefox, it takes about a full minute to load. It shows an outline of the UI, but does not become usable for a while, windows also puts up a "firefox is not responding" window when the window is interacted with. After loading, opening a new window is unaffected, and page loading is snappy. just the initial launch is the issue. This remains true even after a clean uninstall + reinstall. Appdata folder was removed as well, and did not affect the issue. I do not have any antivirus software other than windows defender, so that should not be an issue. My hardware is also not likely to be at fault, as it is sufficiently up to date (upgraded within last year, not sharing specs here). Chrome starts up in less than a second for reference. Once again, a fresh install with a new profile has the same symptoms. Have tried every available guide to no effect.

Good day Mozilla vols! Has anyone else heard of, or developed an issue recently where TB will not delete multiple emails when selected? Previously, when I selected multiple emails for deletion and clicked "delete selected messages", TB would hang for a bit (while processing), but then all my selected messages would be deleted from both TB and my mail provider.

With timing conspicuously aligning to the 115.10.2 update, the multiple email delete functionality has broken. Now, when I highlight multiple emails to delete, instead of deleting them, TB marks them all as read, and only deletes a single email (the oldest email in the group I selected).

I saw one other question about this, but it was marked "archived" without an answer. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I want firefox to not only cache the URL and page title, but also cache the page contents, so that if I do a URL bar search for a word that was only contained in a page that a visited (not in the title or url) firefox finds it. Apparently chrome already does this. Why doesn't firefox? I can't even find a add-on that does this for firefox.

Hey, Can't seem to find the master password feature on android that's on the desktop version. Saw a previous thread from a year ago that implied that it was cause the unlocking of the phone was enough, but that didn't make sense to me, because you have to unlock a computer as well?

I just worry that if my phone gets hacked, they would just be able to easily pull the firefox passwords, and I wouldn't mind that extra layer of protection. Any chance I missed the setting or of this getting added? Or is this something I shouldn't worry about due to the way the data is secured?
