I really like this app. I always use it on desktop also but after a few last updates I noticed that battery usage of this app increased a lot and the percentage is very high. 1 hour screen time on youtube was 4% battery usage but on the firefox side it was 17 min / 11% battery usage. If you fix this It will be perfect for me. Here are the screenshots with different days. And I'm using sync feature and ublock addon. I always close the opened apps and I use deep sleep feature on my samsung device. And I forced to close the app. For now I stop using firefox for test purposes.

On my iPad when I tap on Menu Icon > History > Trash Icon > Everything, the tabs refresh/flash and then the order of the tabs change. For example,

Old tabs: 1 2 3 4 (active tab is 2) New tabs after clearing the history: 1 3 4 2 (active tab is now 3)

Is there a way to prevent this? I’d like to keep the original order of my tabs.

I have a Blackview Tab16 (10" screen), which I bought last year; it was running Firefox quite happily until a couple of months ago. Now when I click on the icon, I get a sort of 'welcome' screen (with some message about a search widget?) for a fraction of a second, then FF closes and I get an error message saying 'Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed.' The version of FF is 126.0. I was told to try clearing the cache, but there is nothing there to clear! The tablet is running Android 12 / DoKe OS V3.0.

I have an 8" Blackview tablet which - despite needing to be plugged in to run all the time! - opens & runs Firefox perfectly happily. It's my main browser on my MacBook as well, and will run on my iPhone.

I am using Samsung S23 with the latest One UI and Android 14. Samsung's built-in browser has a neat feature where you can open YouTube or Reddit links in the apps installed on the device instead of viewing them in the mobile version of the website in the browser. I assume that Firefox has the same functionality called "Open links in apps" in the settings, but I tried all the available options and neither YouTube or Reddit links are automatically opened in their respective apps, nor is there a button anywhere to force them to open in the apps. Am I doing or assuming something wrong, or is this a bug?

In the dark theme mode, there seems to be an issue with the animation when long-pressing the Tab. However, in the light theme mode, the animation works fine

Firefox just used almost a GB by just opening it! I only typed a Google search, and the next moment my phone tells my I'm out of data!

Note that this is foreground data, not background data. I googled and found answers about media playing in the background, but I haven't watched anything recently, so no streaming link should be active. I installed Ublock origin so I hope that might help.

When I finally decided to start organizing my hundreds of bookmarks, I began to experience a crash every 1-2 minutes. I'm opening, editing and moving bookmarks into different folders, which by itself shouldn't cause frequent crashes. My phone's specs shouldn't be an issue either since I have an s24 ultra. Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. I just opened firefox on my samsung galaxy note 8 and all of my tabs are gone. I have not seen the "restore previous sessions" option, nor are they in the "recently closed tabs" part of my history. Please help. Is there any way to restore the tabs?

Listening to audiobooks made me notice this problem, often whilst my phone is turned off and the audiobook is playing in the background on a tab on firefox the audio would just stop and i would find either that firefox was still open but unloaded all the tabs, or that it simply crashed. I thought this was a thing that solely happened when playing audio in the background but then i noticed that it is actually a general problem when firefox is kept open in the background. It doesnt happen after a set amount of time, sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes after like 10 minutes that it is kept in the background. How can i fix this? its very annoying.
