You know, for android, people can still choose the 3 button plan, which are background, home and return.

So, previously, If I long press return, firefox would push up a list of history pages of the current tab page, I can select to go back to any one.

But recently I found this function have disappeared. Is this function canceled, or just a bug and there's way to fix it?

I'm using Firefox 135.0 on a MacBook Pro with a large external monitor.

The menu bar at the top of the screen (NOT the Firefox window) has "Firefox, File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Windows, Help".

When I click on "History", it shows me the most recent 15 pages I visited. Always 15. I'd like to increase that number, as 15 is inconveniently few and uses less than half my screen height. However, I can't find a preference for it either under "Settings" or in "about:config".

I know that there are at least two ways to get to a more extensive history list, but they need more clicks.

So is there a way to change 15 into a larger number?

Since the settings haven't given that option for years, the best way to have a local file as the new tab page was using autoconfig.cfg + autoconfig.js, as described in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1251199 But since the most recent update (v136.0), this stopped working.

The New Tab Override add-on has its own issues with using local files (can only load a .html file, no local CSS/JS, can't give a blank address bar for me to search in), so it doesn't solve the issue either.

This is very important to me, and others have been asking for this feature back for years. It feels awful to have the working solution stop working, in the browser that's supposed to be open and customizable.

I have important Tabs opened for the past few weeks. When my Firefox page closed and I reopened firefox, it was onto a new fresh page. When I go to Menu, History, Recently closed tabs, it just gives me tabs that I have closed. I want to open my Firefox page and have the 10 or so Tabs, that were opened and Not closed back on the fresh page. HELP.

Hi guys. I rely on the browsing history to sort the content I read as backing material. But I can't save it to PC. The only feature provided in history windows is to backup the bookmark. Given that Firefox would clear the history automatically on a 60 days basis, I will appreciate it if you would tell me how to save the history. Moreover, how to import the history record for PC, if available, so that I can browse the information and re-visit the websites in Firefox.

A opção nas configurações do browser "Abrir abas e janelas anteriores" está ativa, deixo várias abas abertas, mas quando fecho e abro novamente, as abas somem. Não sei se pode ser um problema externo, do computador, mas seria interessante se essa opção funcionasse como deveria.

The icons on my home page suddenly became significantly reduced in size. Sure, I can tell what they are, and I've increased the text size for their identifiers below the icons. But they are now so small as to be not pleasing to the eye. How can I put them back the way they wuz?

I am using Firefox on my computer and have encountered a few issues:

1. When I delete all the website shortcuts, I am unable to add new website shortcuts. There is no option available to add them back.

2. When I use the "Unpin" option, the shortcut gets deleted completely, instead of just being unpinned. Ideally, the shortcut should remain available after unpinning.

I kindly request you to address these issues in an upcoming update so that users can have a smoother browsing experience.

It opened every time I typed.

I asked ChatGPT and turned off both "Search page when you start typing" in settings and made some config files to block it.

It still shows up when I press ' or / outside a text input.

Hello, I have restarted my laptop only to find that my previous session was not retriavable anymore, so I went to my History and to my utter surprise it was gone. Years of history deleted. Could you help me understand what on Earth just happened?!?!?! Thanks in advance

Customization:

I want to change the Microsoft desktop icons on shortcuts to a number of internet URLs. Unlike with other shortcuts, this is not possible with Firefox. Too many of the same icon are confusing. Seems to me it would be a simple and useful option.

The RESTORE SESSIONS option is not showing under HISTORY. My computer performed a scheduled reboot before I could closed my windows but once I reopened the FIREFOX browser I could not find the RESTORE SESSIONS option so I could get my closed browser windows again.

My clear history will not clear the last month's history. I switched to private browsing which clears my most recent history. Is there a way I can clear this months history?
