Can you provide any particular site name ? as per your concern,I hover several website but unable to find any glitches. like wise :

This types of buges are fixed in firefox 29

I've been using Firefox 29 for a couple of days now and so far it still hangs on random YouTube pages and http://www.independent.co.uk/ (I haven't had time to test all the newspaper pages).

I also have the same problem when I go to

www.reuters.com

When I go to that website it hangs/doesn't load the page. I download the latest version and did a clean reinstall but it still doesn't work.

I'm sure it's got something to do with Flash Player, it's been hanging a lot today for me when I try to use YouTube. Over the years I've tried removing plug-ins, making sure Flash player is running the latest version etc but none of it seems to help....

Please update to Firefox 29.0.1 to see if that fixes any issues. If it doesn't then try to disable hardware acceleration in Flash to see if that works

1. Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page.
2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
3. Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
4. Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.
   
   The image "fpSettings1.PNG" does not exist.
   
5. Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
6. Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
7. Restart Firefox.

Yes my firefox is updated to latest version Firefox 29.0.1. I did try disabling hardware acceleration in Flash but still hang when I go to www.reuters.com.

Have anyone try going to that website and see if you are able to load the website?

You can check the Network log in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer).

I have FF v 31.0 and it appears this version was either automatically downloaded or updated on July 31, 2014. Since that time, I have had nothing but problems and the only fool proof solution I have found was to go back to Internet Explorer, which I absolutely despise.

But, I had a choice between something I despise (IE) that works, and something I really like (FF) but has become completely unreliable. I have ‘Reset’ FF, cleared everything, disabled hardware acceleration, cleared all add-ons (one of the reasons I had FF to begin with) and pretty much tried every solution Mozilla recommended. At times, some of these fixes seemed to work for a few hours but then it was right back to 'hanging' on me. I don’t have the time to ‘fix’ FF every few hours, not to mention the fact I spend even more time reloading passwords, add-ons, etc..

I’ve kept the latest IE version on my computer because I have a stock trading program that runs better on IE. For probably 1 ½ years, the only time I opened IE was when I was trading stocks, and my trading program was the only thing running in IE. When I began to have problems with Firefox, I tried opening some of the same sites in IE that were hanging in FF and sure enough, all opened quickly and with no issues. I hate Internet Explorer but until Mozilla can fix Firefox, I have no choice but to return to IE.

I have transferred all my ‘Favorites’ to IE and regrettably now use that rather than Firefox. I will keep FF on my computer and check it during non-critical use to see if Mozilla has found a fix, but until then it has to remain on the sidelines. I’ve used Firefox for a few years now but I’m beginning to see a lot of issues with it and am wondering if they’ve hired some former Microsoft / IE employees. FF is approaching the ‘sucks’ level formerly held by IE.

Update: well, I found something else that pretty much clinches my return to IE. I opened multiple websites in FF and then opened the exact same sites in FF. When I checked resources being used, I discovered FF was using roughly 40% more RAM than IE for the exact same webpages. I find that funny because that is what caused me to go from IE to FF a few years ago; IE was using far more RAM than FF. I also noticed where FF used 3% of my CPU, IE registered 0% use.

I've tried using Firefox again today since it is the weekend and I'm not trading stocks and sure enough, FF just keeps hanging on me. While it just sits there, I can open Internet Explorer and pull up the same page in a heartbeat. I hate Internet Explorer, but it works and FF does not. I also don't see where anyone from Mozilla is trying to resolve the issue.
