I wish I had more information about the problem. However, are you using a Mac OSX Operating system?

There was a person in that forum thread with a username of irdoc who said:

"I am also unable to get Adobe Flash Player 13 (v. 13.0.0.182) to work properly on my Mac, even after using the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller. My previous version (v. 12.0.0.77) works fine, and the only way I can get Flash Player to work is by deleting v13 and reinstalling v12.

My Mac is a MacPro 1,1..."

It is possible that this is a problem with Adobe Flash player specifically. Have you tried watching videos with other browsers?

As a warning, I tried to find a secure location to download version 12.0.0.77, but I wasn't able to find one without potential risk. Do be careful if you choose to go that route. Make sure you have at least some form of antivirus and firewall before attempting this.

Apparently this problem with Adobe occurred on the 8th of April this year, so it's fairly recent. Also, apparently Chrome uses a built in flash player that didn't receive this plug-in. If you really need to or wish to watch videos, and this is an Adobe issue, you could use Chrome for the time being.
