How do I modify Firefox download action to: download to a specific location AND open the file (with a specific program)?

In firefox you have to manually click on file after it is downloaded, while in chrome its possible.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page and search for download sort. As to opening a program after the download, just put such a file into a separate directory. It would be better to not have a downloaded file active on its own. What if something bad happens? What if its a movie or MP3 and you just stepped out?
