How do I remove "VisualBee" as tab homepage?
"VisualBee" appears on any new tab. I tried the "Search reset" add-on but this did not work.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

I too had this problem, so thank you for posting your issue, because that was the only way I stumbled on to the solution. Sorry it's long answer;
Went to 'Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware' there I found 'Your home page has been hijacked. For more information on setting your home page, see How to set the home page.' Click on 'How to set the home page' There I found this, Important: If your homepage has been hijacked, see the article Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page. Went to 'Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page.' There I found, 'Restore the default home page or search settings
You may need to reset your Firefox search preferences and restore the default home page and search engine after removing the toolbar. A simple way to do that is with the SearchReset add-on.'
The answer is the add-on 'SearchReset' by Gavin Sharp. It installs itself, removes the yucky Bing thing page, then uninstalls itself! Brilliant!!
And here's the short answer for those that don't need explanations :O)

This worked, thank you very much. I had no knowledge beforehand of the third step "about:config" and would not have known to do this.
hey Pegasus,
what you could do is check out visualbee's uninstall options. You just need to change a couple of settings in firefox's preferences in addition to uninstalling the extension (the actual toolbar)

Hope this toolbar hasnt dissuaded you from actually using visualbee - it saves a lot of time while making presentations and they end up looking real good.
Also be sure to check out the video on the page. Its a better representation of what you need to do - this is especially given the nature of your question.
