I downloaded 'shopping assistant' addon and I've gone to several sites to see if it works. But I can't tell if its working or not. What should I see.

I downloaded the addon "shopping assistant " and I've shopped several sites. I can't tell if the addon is working. Everything looks as it did before I down loaded shopping assistant. What should I see? Thanks,
