Why is print formatting failing after page 1?

Recently, Firefox 6.0 printouts of web pages began always failing on all pages after the first. The printed info is shifted right an inch or so and the font is enlarged. If the print is started on p.2 then p.2 is ok but pages 3 ... are incorrectly formatted. This problem occurs with both an HP and a Canon printer. It is also seen when doing a Print Preview or PDF output.
