Can Firefox associate a specific language to a specific tab?

I often research or write in multiple languages. I like to open different tabs for my work in each language and select the necessary language for that tab.

Firefox does not seem to associate a selected language to a specific tab, only maintaining the current language selection for all tabs.

Am I overlooking how to select a language using Windows on a certain tab and have Firefox remember the selection for that tab as long as the tab remains open?

This is existing functionality in IE that eliminates having to change language settings when I need to type a different language.
