Images (embedded in emails) that I forward in emails do not appear to the receiver of my email (how to fix?).

I get emails with images in them that show up very clearly. I've been forwarding them on, but people getting my emails can't see the images, so they send the emails back, and I see the images in their reply. This seems to happen when the images are in the body of the email itself as opposed to something you click on to open or download. What can I do when sending out emails with images to make these images viewable to my email recipients? I have Firefox 3.6.16

This happens with both Windows 7 and Windows Vista. The problem occurs when using my Hotmail and AT&T Yahoo email. I have heard it is a problem in Gmail and AOL as well. So it may be a Windows problem. I have tried a system restore and virus scans with no success. It is very frustrating!

Security software (firewall, anti-virus) can block such attached or embedded images, so check that out.
