Instead of just one button on the toolbar, it still has all the old buttons. And it doesn't seem to have the new default home page.

Chosen solution

The new interface is only default on Windows Vista and Windows 7. To get it on Windows XP you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.

If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

If you have previously changed the home page, it will use your existing home page. To return it to the default home page, in the Options window, go to the General panel then click the "Restore to Default" button.
