i'm running firefox 3.5.17 and i also have google chrome 10.0.648.151. for windows vista. whenever i view japanese webpages, the fonts are rendered incorrectly in chinese fonts. as a result, the totally wrong character is displayed OR a question mark appears (in the case that the japanese character doesn't exist in chinese). i wasn't having this problem with firefox previously, but it seems that after downloading chrome, the problem spread to firefox as well. does anyone have any idea how to fix this? asian fonts and IME's have been installed on my computer for quite some time, so i don't think that's an issue.
