Why are only the first 8 bookmarks viewable in the toolbar and the rest cutoff in 4.0 due to the new bookmarks folder that is now on the rightside?

I can no longer drag down my entire list of toolbar bookmarks in the toolbar because 4.0 puts a Bookmarks folder on the right side of the toolbar and that cuts off the rest of the bookmarks in the toolbar. Only 8 bookmarks are viewable and then you reach the bookmarks folder. You can drag this down and then get a toolbar sub-menu but I can do that in the bookmark menu item at the top of the browser. The previous version gave you only your toolbar bookmarks. The first eight or nine were visible across the header and then you could click at the right and a drop-down menu of the remaining bookmarks were accessable. I've tried different view options, customization, drag in and drag out bookmark icons but, alas, nothing. Please advise. Thank you. Everything else looks great.

Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" and drag the Bookmarks Menu button in the toolbar palette to remove it from the Bookmarks Toolbar.
