how to import Internet Explorer favorties to Foxfire Bookmarks even though I have already installed Foxfire

I have already installed Foxfire and use it some. At the time I installed, it asked about importing my Favorites from Internet Explorer. For some reason I did not do so. But I want to now. Is there a way to do so?

Firefox 2.0 is over 4 years old and no longer supported, you need to install a newer version of Firefox.

There are other things that need attention:

Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.

  1. Shockwave Flash 9.0 r16
  2. Macromedia Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 10.1
  3. Java Plug-in 1.5.0_07 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)

You may need to remove the NPSWF32.DLL Flash plugin file from the Firefox program folder ("C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\").

Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.

Update the Shockwave for Director plugin to the latest version.

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

Ok so go to your "internet explorer" page where your old bookmarks/favorites are. On the left top side of that page is a tab that has a "Star and a plus sign" that is where your favorites are click on that and click on "Import and Export".

It will open up a window called "Welcome to the Import/Export window" Click on "next".

Select "Export Favorites" then click on "Next". You'll see a list of all your bookmarked/favorites click on "Next"

Then click on "Export to a file or address" and click on "Browse". There will be a pop window it will fill in the file name "Bookmark" in your "Document Folder" Click on "Save" pop window will disappear and then on "Next". Then click on "Finish".

Go back to your Foxfire window. Click on your bookmark tab that's located on the right top of page. It's square with a star on it.

Click on "Show all bookmarks" a window will pop up on the right side of your screen. Then click on "Import and Export"

Click on "Import HTML" there will be another pop up window and click on "Microsoft Internet Explorer" Then click on "Next. That will download all your bookmarked/Favorites into your Foxfire bookmarks and then click on Finish.
