Suddenly I cannot get pdf to display in a tab using a site that prints pdf to a new tab; this used to work.

I use more than one web site that either prints pdf to a new tab in Firefox or displays a pdf link in a tab. Now, when I try to do this, a new tab opens, but remains blank with no display.
