McAffee Virus Protection - can I use Firefox properly with this?

I have McAffee for virus protection and was told that it is not compatible with Firefox? I wanted to try Firefox, but I really like my McAffee virus protection and do not want issues...What can someone tell me about this?

Yes Firefox is compatible with almost all antivirus protection programs
