The Firefox icon on my desktop now says "fishlake" underneath it instead of Mozilla Firefox. What does this mean and should I worry about it? I'm afraid to click on until I know more.

Hello Marja.

Your user string seems to be legitimate, so it's probably a case where somebody changed the name of the shortcut just to mess with you :) It is just a shortcut, and it doesn't affect the program in any way, so you can rename it however you want.

Just to make sure, however, that you are using the real thing, you can go into Help > About Mozilla Firefox and see something as shown in this page, then you're good.

Just to make sure, however, that you are using the real thing, you can go into Help > About Mozilla Firefox and see something as shown in this page, then you're good.
