I lost my Firefox file with bookmarks and passwords

Hello, I am requesting assistance recovering my original Firefox profile. My original Firefox installation unexpectedly disappeared from my computer. Believing I needed to reinstall it, I accidentally downloaded Firefox from the wrong source. I was eventually able to recover my Firefox profile, but Firefox repeatedly crashed afterward. To resolve the crashes, I uninstalled Firefox and then downloaded the correct version from Mozilla's website. After installing the correct version, my original Firefox profile is now completely gone. Before this happened, my Firefox profile contained all of my saved passwords, bookmarks, browsing history, and folders, including important folders such as Bills and Jennifer. Those folders are no longer present. I would like to know whether there is any way to recover my original Firefox profile or restore the missing data.
