Open Firefox and click the menu button three horizontal lines in the top-right corner. Select "Help" and then "About Firefox." If an update is available, Firefox will automatically begin downloading it. If you see a message like "Your Firefox is up to date," then you are already running the latest version. Once the download completes, Firefox may prompt you to restart the browser to apply the update. Click "Restart to Update Firefox" to complete the process.

Depending on your version of Firefox this may differ. Can also access it in the general settings area halfway down the menu. Hope this helps.
