The browser disables recording Nvidia ShadowPlay.

When the browser is open - whether with tabs or not - it disables NVIDIA ShadowPlay. The NVIDIA overlay says “a protected app is preventing desktop capture,” and I’d agree with that if it only happened when tabs with DRM content were open, but it happens even in an empty browser.

Thank you for bringing this up! Could you please report it on Bugzilla, Mozilla's bug tracker, for the developers to take a look? Please also feel free to share a link to your report here for us to follow along.

While I don't know whether it's a bug or a design decision, the devs should definitely be able to tell that (and investigate in case it's a bug).
