I get this message when trying to delete or compact....

"The folder 'Inbox on gggdds@js-net.com' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again...."

I'm logged in as administrator; what else can I do?

Not 100% sure, but that may be https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1952311. Try the workaround mentioned in Comment #2.

This problem should be gone in newer versions.
