For some months now when I click on a video that is on a news website, such as The Guardian or The BBC for example, the video screen goes black and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

It loads and plays just fine on my Firefox 137.0.2 without issues.

Did you verify it in Safe Mode in Firefox as well?

I have just done that and the videos DO play in safe mode
