erasing history
I clicked on something that said something like "Do you want to delete stuff when you shut down Firefox?" No all my password and history stuff that used to remember my preferences, on YouTube for example) are gone. How do I fix that?

Without knowing what that message came from or what it said that's hard to know what it said. The only want to clear is if your privacy settings where you clicked clear all history and cache and that could clear everything out but without know what you did exactly clearing history or login or cache is next to impossible to find or restore now.
