Hi, you have this problem on Windows? I think of this more as a mobile feature than a desktop feature.
Do you see a "Spoken Answers" settings when you visit:
https://www.google.com/preferences#tabVal=1
Some forum posts from 7-15 months ago mentioned finding it there, but I don't see it myself today.
For years, I’d go to https://www.google.com/preferences#tabVal=1 in Firefox Browser and disable "Spoken Answers" for Google search. But with the recent update on Firefox (version 134.0.2 for Windows 10, 64-bit), I can’t find that option anymore. Did they accidentally leave it out?
It's a Google site setting, so I don't think Firefox has any control over it. If it just changed this week, it might be hard to find posted solutions yet.
Does it make any difference whether you are signed in or out of your Google account?
Issue resolved! I turned 'Spoken Answers' on and off in Google Browser, and now Firefox Browser no longer gives me spoken responses.

Oh wow. I guess it is stored as a setting in your Google account, and that's how it transfers between browsers?
