After restarting, the tab to the right of the previous active tabs opens, and also when closing a tab
If this is supposed to happen by default. If so. I don't understand why. To me, this is backwards. Can someone please explain the logic to me?
When I reopen my browser, the tabs to the right of what was the active tabs is chosen. Same thing when I close a tab, the tab to the right opens instead of going left.
There has to be a way to reverse these behaviors I assume are related.

noel, sorry but I don't know whether or not these can be changed.
Regarding the logic, I think that a usage case for switching to the tab on the right of the closed tab might be as follows. Let's say that You go through several links on a search results page, or a news articles page, opening each of them in a new tab. You then press ctrl+tab or otherwise navigate to the first of the several links that you opened on the previous page. After reading link 1, you close the tab and Firefox now switches to link 2's tab. Then after reading link 2, you close its tab and link 3's tab now appears, and so on.
(The above assumes that your Firefox is set to not automatically switch to the new tab when you open a link on the current page in a new tab)

noel, sorry but I don't know whether or not these can be changed.I can appreciate your scenario, but what of this sequence.
I just opened the tab to the right of this threads tab, thus the last active, open tab, was this one. When I closed that new tab, the "inactive" tab to the right opened, not this one.
Not to mention, how do we justify restarting the browser and not having it open to the tab that was active at the time the browser was closed, but to the one on it's right? I really need someone to rationalize that one for me.
