I updated. There was then supposed to be a 're-store session'. Didn't happen. And I'm not about to read a thousand pages of twaddle to find out why. Firefox actually just sucks. My tech installed it. I'm going back to Safari.

On Mac closing Firefox can be more complicated because you can close all open windows, but keep Firefox running with the menu bar visible or minimized in the Doc.

Make sure to use "Quit Firefox" with all windows still open, especially if you want to use "Restore Previous Session". Otherwise check "History -> Restore Previous Session" and "History -> Recently Closed Tabs/Windows".

Thanks. Easier to quit Firefox altogether. Yet another stunning example of how these apps, platforms and sites are chaos where common sense and rational design are concerned.
