Switching tabs pages are auto-adjusting

more options

When I switch from one tab to another doesn't matter the webpage the page adjusts the content on the tab. For example I was on youtube and switched over to gmail and it adjusted the screen and when I switched back to youtube it did the same on youtube. I wasn't zoomed in or anything. I was just on the tab and it was fine and looked how it should but as soon as I switch to another tab it does it on that tab and then will do it again when I switch back to the tab I was on originally on. I'm on FF vers 113.0.2 (64-bit).

Can you elaborate on what you mean with the webpage the page adjusts the content on the tab ?

Can you attach screenshots ?

the page will jump when switching between tabs. let's say I have 3 tabs open. one with youtube, one with gmail and one with twitch. if I switch tabs from gmail to youtube the youtube page will jump/adjust for whatever reason and the same thing will happen when I switch back to gmail. I can't take a photo of it because its so quick you wouldn't be able to see it. you would only be able to see it from a video.

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the Default System theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
