Issue accessing some sites starting about 04/20/23
In the past week I have found that I am now unable to log into some websites, can no longer download pdfs from websites, or word docs from email. I have had issues trying to access chat functionality with my web hosting company. This has forced me to have to start using Chrome is many cases.
Firefox is my favorite browser and I want to continue using it, but if I am unable to access the websites I need to, when I need to then I will have to eventually jump ship.
Is this happening because of recent browser updates? From search from past issues people have had I've seen firewall settings a possibility, so could it be my firewall? Or are websites just not trying to support Firefox anymore?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Forget to mention streaming. Two sites that I stream on my computer, Paramount Plus, and Peacock can no longer be accessed for streaming.
You will need to show us the issue. What security software are you running? You can also try Windows Sandbox if you're running Win Pro. https://www.howtogeek.com/399290/how-to-use-windows-10s-new-sandbox-to-safely-test-apps/
What happens when you try a pdf from this site? https://www.irs.gov/downloads/irs-pdf I have no issues. see screenshot

I'm running Avira Prime, but the firewall is Windows Defender. I am able to download a pdf from the website above. Not really sure what's happening, but I see there are a lot of users having an issue accessing sites with firefox.
After looking at some of the other posts, I have tried disabling trackers previously, with no change. Looks like the issue might sort itself out with the next update.

Interesting. I turned off Avira Web Protection and tried to download some of the pdf's I've had issues and one of the sites that I've been unable to log into and it works with Avira Web Protection off. Keeping it on for now and will just turn off if I need to. Hopefully Avira will fix soon!
VERY happy right now. I do have Chrome now set up with my bookmarks as a back up, but, I'm a firefox girl. Started with Netscape, then Mozilla and then firefox since the first version.
Thanks for the help!
