This past Sunday, when I opened my email program, my mail would not open. It was asking for a password. I did not sey it up with a password. After a couple of tries, I got the message that my email had been shut down but it is now re-opened. I logged on my my internet carrier & they said they had not closed my email but if I was using a different email program that might be the problem. Once I signed into my internet carrier, I did start receiving some emails but I am not receiving all the emails that I was receiving before the message that my email has been closed but was now being re-open. Did something happen on your end that can possibly be straightened out?

Thank You, Geraldine Pollard

Geraldine, Thunderbird is only getting information from websites like Google's gmail, so it was asking for a password to get into that website's email---I think.
