No, Firefox doesn't support 2FA in combination of text messages or email, although a confirmation code for other cases can be send via email. Using SMS text messages or email for 2FA is not very secure as this can possibly be hacked.

Understand the security concerns of SMS 2FA but realistically, the overwhelming majority of website/services utilizing 2FA and still either exclusively using SMS or at minimum offering it as an option.

FF lack of maintaining competitive advantage with its competitors makes increased adoption difficult.

As much as I endeavored to migrate away from Safari to something else (FF, Brave, etc) - ultimately I am likely back to Safari, as the user experience is more cohesive.

fwiw, FF should reconsider their position on this
