Cant Seem to move Bookmarks between folders on ubuntu 22.10 as a flatpak

more options

I installed firefox as a flatpak on ubuntu 22.10(kinetic kudu) and everything works fine except for one thing, that being the fact that i cant seem to drag bookmarks from one folder to another, as as soon as the bookmark is dragged from the folder towards another dropdown menu the entire bookmark dropdown closses. as soon as that happens i also cant seem to type inside of firefox restarting firefox fixes the latter issue but not the former.

i hope i explained the problem well

Try downloading Firefox from Mozilla. Download, unzip, and run firefox-bin from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

as far as i know ubuntu 22.10 uses wayland as default. i know that its not just specific to this computer as it also doesnt work correctly on my laptop. might it be because its a flatpak?

Can you test in X11?

i have x11 installed already i just do not know how to launch firefox using it

i just remembered i used this script(https://github.com/popey/unsnap) to switch to flatpak might that be a source of error?

more options

Yeah... that unsnap sounds messy. I suggest using the Ubuntu forum and ask how to boot X11. You can also just start over or give openSUSE a try.  ;-) IMHO it's clearly an OS issue if both versions of Firefox have the same problem. Good Luck
