Are you asking to change the default web browser from Firefox to Safari or to uninstall Firefox on macOS ?

That article is for Firefox on iPhone/iPad as iOS is a mobile OS used for iPhone and older iPad as newer ones use the similar iPadOS. The OP is using Firefox on Mac OS or macOS.
