Metamask extension keeps disappearing

Hello,

I have had several problems with firefox add-on extension that keep disappearing, specifically metamask. I want to refrain from continuously re-adding this add on and have to setup up everything from scratch again.

Why does this keep happening? How to prevent this from happening in the future? Can I restore the add/extension?

Btw - there is a new folder on my desktop "old firefox data"

Addon issues are to contact the Addon Developers for support. Maybe it's outdated and being removed or blocked because it has security issues with Firefox and it blocks it from running. And how did you get that new folder old firefox data?
