What part(s) of Firefox are bouncing ?

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

You can possibly set ui.prefersReducedMotion = 1 on the about:config page to see whether that improves things.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. If you get the warning page, you can click the "Accept the Risk and Continue" button.

Hey, You can change the theme to Photon Colors for a more eye pleasing view. If this doesn't help, will list two articles below with detailed steps on how to downgrade from the current version. https://superuser.com/questions/1643618/how-do-i-revert-firefox-to-a-previous-version-and-keep-my-profile-intact https://browserhow.com/how-to-downgrade-and-install-older-version-of-firefox/
