Fred, thank you for all of your aid in resolving my problem. After using your suggestions and doing some amateur poking around I found the problem was simply some folders which had not been removed during the uninstalling process of my Mozilla program. Once I deleted them and reinstalled the program all was well. Again, thank you for your help and patience with this rookie computer guru. (Smile)

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

If you want, I can guide you in creating a new profile. After, we can Copy files that you want to the new profile.

When I set up my new computer I used my old set up version of Mozilla and it installed properly and ran ok. The problem began when I noticed somehow the newest version had mysteriously appeared on the old PC and all my old settings were in place and everything was just fine there. Soooo I proceeded to install the newest Mozilla version on my new PC assuming it would solve the problem. However this version although running fine did not have all my settings OR folders that I had set up and needed. Then thinking I could just use the method outlined in the support article to exchange the profile from the newer version on the old PC to the new PC I proceeded. Everything seemed to work as stated until I restarted Mozilla and got the message "Mozilla can't find a profile" and wouldn't load. So assuming I did something wrong somewhere I uninstalled the program on my new computer and attempted to reinstall it again and retry the procedure. Now I get the same message as above and have no email at all. Any aid you can provide will be greatly appreciated as I am now at a complete loss for ideas as to how to fix this.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
