Hi, Save Page Image As... should call up a Windows dialog to specify where to save the file. Do other calls like that still work or have they all stopped working? For example, you also could test Save Page As... (it's on the right-click context menu). There's a different dialog to upload a file. On this site, there's a Browse button below the box where you type, or in Firefox, you could test Ctrl+O (Open file).

I have this same problem since I upgraded to mac OS 12.0 I have tried "Save Page As"... same problem. The dialog box simply doesn't come up to select a location to save the image / page. Nothing at all happens.

I'm wondering whether (re)installing Firefox after your system update might help with this problem.

How to download and install Firefox on Mac -- when uninstalling/reinstalling, do not let Firefox or MacOS delete your data.

Ok, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but no luck.

"Save Image As..." works as expected in SAFARI but I can not figure out what's going on in FIREFOX.

Any other ideas?

As a Windows person, I don't have much insight into how Firefox interacts with MacOS. I know that MacOS has a lot of permission settings, but saving downloads seems like something that should always be possible. Puzzling.
