How do I remove the mixed content protection permanently and will it remove the banner that appears? I am sick of the banner that pops up at times that affects the browsing ability which is entirely annoying and how do I remove the shield and padlock from my fire fox entirely. I hate having to disable those as they interfere with the operation of my firefox and website that I have because not all the content on my website fails to load if the mixed content is disabiled. I'm tired of having this on my browser. I have to enable all my site features everytime I reload my browser. This is totally in the way.

What kind of banner are you seeing? That doesn't sound familiar. Can you attach a screenshot?

You can adjust your Tracking Protection settings on the options page so that less is blocked. See: Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop.

There's no built-in way to remove the padlock. Also, I'm not sure why that would help with website problems. I think it would just make it harder to see what is going on.

Have you checked to make sure your extensions are not causing the problem? Extensions such as Adblock Plus, Blur, Disconnect, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery, NoScript, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin or uMatrix usually provide a toolbar button to manage blocked content in a page. There may or may not be a number on the icon indicating the number of blocked items; you sometimes need to click the button to see what's going on and test whether you need to make an exception for this site.
