Hi Maitreya, there is a request on file in the bug tracking system for adding symbols to generated passwords. However, for now, I think you need to add special characters by hand after the generated password is filled. When you submit the password, Firefox should update the saved login. But it's probably a good idea to remember what you changed just in case.
