Firefox is blocking requests to a particular url on react app

I am a react developer and on running the development server, the login request gets blocked every time. On the deployed site, this does not happen. Both use the same endpoint for login. Why is this happening? How do I fix this?

Also to be noted is that this happens only with one particular project and not with other projects. The same API works fine on Chrome.
