Sync won't transfer my passwords to my new computer

I save my passwords with sync. I got a new computer, signed into firefox on it, and synced, but none of my passwords are on my new computer. Both are up to date. I tried to install the firefox app on my iPhone just in case, and when i synced i got the one login synced from my new computer, but not my old. How do i get those passwords to appear on my new computer?
