Add on button disappear if firefox set to not remember history

Good day everyone,

I am using firefox 80.0.1 (64-bit), on windows 10.

If i set the firefox to not remember history, the add on button beside the address bar will be missing and a [flexible space] will be there instead.

If i revert the setting to remember history then the add on button will appear again.

How can i set the icon to appear if i want the setting to not remember history?
