Is Firefox Sync bi-directional?

I only want to sync my bookmarks FROM my Windows desktop TO my android tablet. I do not want my desktop bookmarks disturbed or changed in any way. Is this possible?

Sync shares all selected data between all members of the sync. There is no master.
