Google Sheets glitch in Firefox 80.0.1

Google Sheets is not functioning correctly in FF 80.0.1. I have two Macs; iMac and Macbook Pro both running OSX High Sierra and displaying the same issue. Google Sheets appears 'sticky' e.g. when clicking from one cell to another a whole section of the sheet will suddenly be highlighted. Clicking away simply moves the selection. It takes repeated clicking to finally select the desired cell. Tabs for different workbooks at the bottom can't be selected without the tab being 'grabbed' and dragged following the mouse cursor. Again, repeated clicking is required to release the tab.

I'm seeing no similar issues when viewing the same spreadsheets in Chrome. Has anyone else experienced this?
