I'm not sure how Malwarebytes is affecting your use of Firefox. Are you getting a Malwarebytes popup in Firefox that blocks using the browser? That would be odd.

After starting Firefox, could you try:

right-click the Firefox icon on the Windows 10 Task bar and click "Open new window"

Does the new window also mention Malwarebytes or does that one show your regular start/home page?

Any better luck with:

right-click the Firefox icon on the Windows 10 Task bar and click "Open new tab"

Does that show your regular new tab page?

Is it possible you have a Malwarebytes add-on in your Firefox that is responsible for this? You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

• Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
• "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
• type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. On the right side, find the "Manage Your Extensions" heading.

Then cast a critical eye over the list below that heading (you can stop at the "Recommended Extensions" heading).
